Hightower’s Summer Internship Program:
Hightower commits to a transparent, people first environment where talent is maximized through our diverse, equitable, and inclusive community. Our interns join this community with opportunities to immerse themselves in Hightower’s culture and learn about the financial services industry. Throughout their journey at Hightower, they will develop practical skills necessary for future success and post-graduate opportunities.
The 11-week summer paid internship program provides opportunities to:
- Access to Executive Leadership Team members for weekly Q&A sessions
- Learn directly from industry experts by having weekly 1:1 conversation related to career development
- Attend workshops related post-college career paths and personal development
- Gain exposure to all that the financial services industry has to offer
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of and contribute to department projects and goals
- Establish a mentor-mentee relationship with team members
As an intern, you will participate in development meetings, a variety of networking, mentoring and community events, all intended to help establish what your well-th story is.
The position is full time onsite in Chicago, IL for the 11 weeks and is a paid non-exempt (overtime pay eligible) position.
About Our Team:
The Advisor Engagement team is an internal consulting group dedicated to the success and growth of our advisor businesses. We do this by providing insights on four main areas of focus: Growth Planning, Go-to-Market Strategies, Scale & Efficiency, and Talent.
Our team activities can be described using what we have coined the A.C.E. principles:
- Assess – Qualitative and quantitative approach to understanding our businesses and their needs. We use a variety of tools to evaluate businesses in our four focus areas
- Consult – Converting assessment data into an actionable plan to transform advisor businesses into the next phase of their growth journey
- Educate – Educational programs meant to facilitate scalable coaching and consulting across multiple advisor businesses and bring the power of the Hightower community to our advisors
What You’ll Do:
- Support consultants in their consulting engagements with advisor businesses
- Work with large sets of data to help assess advisor businesses
- Learn about the wealth management industry and how businesses can be successful in growing
- Gain valuable experience creating and presenting content
- Participate in educational programs and be a valuable member of the execution team
Who You Are:
- Current full-time undergraduate student with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- You are curious and data-driven in your approach
- You want to learn more about the Wealth Management industry or Consulting
- You are curious about what makes a business successful and grow
