The WONGDOODY Summer 2023 Intern will work with our Strategy team located in New York City.
This opportunity is a hands-on orientation to the worlds of advertising and experience design for Senior students and master’s degree candidates with a passion for strategy. This position gives candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the gamut of WONGDOODY’s strategy offerings.
The Strategy Intern will be responsible for working with assigned account teams and supporting daily duties for client projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Shadow the Strategy team members to learn the day-to-day function and role within the agency
- Conduct desk research to support and build upon departmental expertise in clients’ industries
- Aid in conducting primary research through interviews, surveys, and other research methods
- Develop POVs based on research
- Gain experience in insight development and brief writing
- Hone communications skills through internal and client-facing presentations
- Develop client partner skills and the importance of relationship building
- Ensure client’s needs and goals are being met on projects
- Experience the range of WONGDOODY’s strategy offerings including brand communications, digital transformation, product and experience innovation, and more…
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE:
- A deep dive into client’s brand history, background information, competitive landscape and reporting on findings
- Interactions with colleagues and activities across all areas of the agency to understand the process and how an agency works
- Learn how to diplomatically problem-solve and maintain a positive attitude with team members and clients in stressful situations
- Firsthand experience in the organization, roles and responsibilities of a modern agency environment that has frequently been recognized on “Best Places To Work” lists
This is a 40 hour per week, paid Internship starting in June 2023. Our ideal candidate will be local to New York, NY,to take advantage of our hybrid work environment.
