Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, customer service-oriented person with passion in the area of packaging manufacturing. This individual will have strong communication skills allowing them to work with end users in both office and manufacturing settings. The individual must be able to understand existing business processes, how they interrelate and translate them into new IT systems solutions. A high energy, driven, teamwork mentality is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of development staff
    • Work to understand technical solutions for business requirements
    • Implement requests from end users for changes to business systems and reporting
    • Understand development standards, technical tooling, and SDLC practice
    • Troubleshoot system issues by working with business users and technical staff
  • Work with a sense of urgency in solving issues and completing assignments
  • Validate results by properly testing code changes
  • Stay current with the latest technical trends


Qualifications

  • Must be self-driven and able to accomplish entry-level troubleshooting tasks
  • Part-time position 10-20 hours per week during school semesters. Full-time during summer break
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized with good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively
  • Customer service focus, with the ability to positively interact directly with end users.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Collaborative team first mentality. Business and goal oriented.
  • Energetic, fun, inquisitive, can-do/positive outlook. Demonstrates a strong work ethic

Technical Skills

During the internship, candidate will become familiar with technologies and platforms including but not limited to:

C#, Web API, MVC, T-SQL, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2019, SQL Server Management Studio

Azure DevOps

Automated deployment

Agile methodology
